Chippendale is one of Sydney’s smallest suburbs and enjoys a bustling student population due to its proximity to Sydney University and UTS. Chippendale takes its name from William Chippendale who was granted a 95 acre estate in 1819. Terrace row houses feature predominantly in Chippendale due to the industries of the last century.
